Who Am I?

Well, I guess I’ll break the ice here. My name is Sadie screen-shot-2016-09-15-at-7-47-21-amLynn Kessler, I am 18 years old. I am a 2016 graduate of Holly High School from Holly, MI and I am a  Leader Advancement Scholar at Central Michigan University. The purpose of this blog is to share my experiences with you and to maybe help you understand why I do the things that I do. A few things you really need to know about me:

  1. My family is the most important thing in my life.
  2. My friends and relationships are my personal building blocks, and I consider them to be my second family.
  3. My passions are what I want to live my life doing.
  4. I live by my core values

The day I graduated from high school. Left to right: Great aunt Debbie, 2nd cousin Abby, Grandma Vicki, Grandpa Robert, Me, best friend Katie, Grandma Kathy, mom Christa, brother Blake, dad Matt.

As I said before, my family is the most important thing in me life. When I say family, I am talking about my parents, my brother and all of my extended family; grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, pets, etc. Without them, life would be boring and my adventure stories wouldn’t exist.

My cousins Haley, Sophia and Tommy brought me my birthday present on my birthday.

My immediate family is only my parents and my brother, I have the best life at home and it is all because of them. My brother is my best friend, my parents support me in all of my endeavors and we are always having a good time. They all want what is best for me and we love one another unconditionally. My extended family is quite large, I have numerous cousins, aunts, and uncles I probably couldn’t name half of them. My pets, they are my children: Freckles and Dakota I claim as mine, Derby is my brother’s and then there is Qwazi who belongs to the whole family. Family will probably be one of the things that I blog about the most outside of the things required of me from the LAS protocol, they are everything to me and I have truly been blessed with the best family anyone could ask for.

I have met some of my best friends through performing and leadership which goes to show that people bond over common interests. I care about my friends like they are my family and all that I want is for them to have the best. Looking at it nowI have many friend groups that don’t overlap socially, I have my high school friends, my theatre friends and now my college friends, all are completely different settings and bonds, but they all mean just as much to me.
