After 125 years of students and faculty taking care of those around them, putting their stamp on the world and building a safe environment for others to learn, live and love in- Central Michigan University is a campus where everyone has an opportunity to do and become whatever they long to. The class of 2021 is the 125th class to come to CMU in the fall of 2017, ready to begin their journey as Chippewa family members, the members of this class need to be aware of everything that the University has to offer them. Mentor Reflection

In my first year as a college student comes to an end, I am starting to look back at how blessed I truly was this year at CMU. I was blessed with the perfect mentor who truly became my ‘mentor of the year.’ If I hadn’t had Liz Colvin as my mentor, I don’t think it would be as easy for me to be excited to have my own mentee as I am. All of these places are places that you automatically think of when you think of the mitten state. For once, I wish people would see the beauty in the city of Detroit that I see daily. Jennifer Lawrence is Still my Mockingjay

The world today is filled with so many people who put on a show in order to be loved by society, but I truly believe that Jennifer Lawrence is a levelheaded, honest and relatable person who is exactly who she appears to be. After being a fan of hers for quite some time now, I have accumulated some arguments to back my opinion.  Continue reading
