125 Years and Counting

After 125 years of students and faculty taking care of those around them, putting their stamp on the world and building a safe environment for others to learn, live and love in- Central Michigan University is a campus where everyone has an opportunity to do and become whatever they long to. The class of 2021 is the 125th class to come to CMU in the fall of 2017, ready to begin their journey as Chippewa family members, the members of this class need to be aware of everything that the University has to offer them. Mentor Reflection

In my first year as a college student comes to an end, I am starting to look back at how blessed I truly was this year at CMU. I was blessed with the perfect mentor who truly became my ‘mentor of the year.’ If I hadn’t had Liz Colvin as my mentor, I don’t think it would be as easy for me to be excited to have my own mentee as I am. I am nervous to mess up but if you’re not nervous for something then your heart isn’t in it, and let me tell you this, my heart is in it entirely for my mentee. Continue reading

When you think of Michigan what places do you think of in a positive way? Mackinac, Frankenmuth, South Haven, maybe the Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes?
