Branching Out and Building Connections

At Central Michigan University, there are so many different scholarships, residential colleges, organizations and programs that students have the opportunity to get involved in. However, I will say that the Leadership Institute is particularly my favorite. I may have biased views since I am a Leader Advancement Scholarship recipient but nevertheless, the LI at Central is one of the best in the country and it is the only one of it’s kind that I know of. SPARK Leadership

As a student at Central Michigan University and an involved student in the Leadership Institute on campus, I had the opportunity to SPARK change with 100 CMU student leaders during the SPARK leadership experience. After spending 6 hours filled with motivation, inspiration, ice breakers and challenge courses I can successfully say that I learned so much and met some pretty great people in the process!
